D.J Gilligan, rider of Whinney Hill (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keen.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr Peter Delmar, Authorised Represntative for W.P. Mullins, trainer of Poetisa, in relation to the reason offered for not running yesterday in Naas with the reason given
as "change in going" (Soft to Heavy), whilst opting to run today on similar ground. Evidence was heard from Mr Peter Delmar, who stated that the owners wanted the horse to take its chance on today's ground. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the report given.

E. Walsh, rider of Butty O Brien, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Banter At The Bar (GB), trained by M.F.Morris, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a right front shoe in running, but was otherwise post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards fined Emmet Mullins, trainer €65 for fitting a tongue strap to Luidgi Du Luy (FR) which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Neill, rider of Luidgi Du Luy (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who thought the first strike hadn't connected and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied Mr M.J. O'Neill was in breach of R10.3.(i)(time to respond) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

Due to operational reasons, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence Seven to be omitted from racing today.
